IMPD investigates after person found shot in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – IMPD officers are investigating after finding a person shot on Indy’s north side Sunday morning.

Officers are currently in the 3000 block of Boulevard Place, just blocks from the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, where a person is believed to have been shot.

When they arrived, police found a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
