Investigations underway after collision between semi-trailer and box truck in Hunts Point, Bronx

BRONX, NEW YORK (July 27, 2024) – One person was hospitalized following a truck crash in Hunts Point, Bronx, along Helleck Street.

According to New York authorities, the incident occurred on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. A box truck and a semi-trailer were involved in a collision.

The force of the impact caused the van to tip onto its side. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the victim.
