Man from Mondovi dies in tractor accident | Local news

TOWN OF ETTRICK, Wis. (WKBT) – A Mondovi man is dead after being trapped under an overturned tractor Saturday morning.

According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, the man was traveling north on County Road S with several other tractors and drivers. The tractor got too close to a ditch and overturned, pinning him underneath, according to a witness.

By the time rescue workers managed to pull the tractor off him, he was already dead.

The accident is no longer under investigation. The names of the victims will not be released until families are notified.
