Tiffany shared a picture of the blood on Facebook and spoke about her ordeal. “Burger King, count your damn days,” she wrote.

“I’m out with the kids and Tay wanted a Happy Meal so I stop and usually I bring her food out but today I just gave her the bag and then I hear ‘mommy there’s ketchup and I didn’t want ketchup’ so I bring her back to see if they messed up our order and it’s BLOOD!!!” wrote a horrified Tiffany.

“Her food and bag are covered in blood… I called Burger King because I knew if I went back there I would go to jail and the manager calmly says ‘yeah our guy cut his hand, if you come back I’ll refund you.’ WHAT!!! So now I’m waiting for Tay’s doctor to call me back to see if I need to take her to the hospital for a blood test. I’M TERRIBLE!!!!” she added.

“There was blood all over her hamburger and the packaging”

Tiffany also spoke about the incident in an interview with the New York Post, recalling finding food covered in a red liquid after she dropped her four-year-old daughter off at the fast-food drive-thru in Getzville, New York, around 12 p.m. on Friday, July 26.

While the New York Post lists the mother’s name as Tiffany Floyd, her Facebook name is Tiffany Lynn.

“All I heard was ‘Mommy, I don’t want ketchup,’ so I grabbed her bag because I thought they messed up our order again. When I checked, her hamburger and the wrapper were covered in blood. I looked in the bag and saw that her toys and everything were covered in blood,” said Tiffany, who lives in Sanborn.

“So I immediately told her to spit out her food. She had fries and a piece of her hamburger. And then I looked at my food and there was blood on mine too,” she added.

Tiffany said when I called the restaurant, the manager, Dan, told me that “a cook had cut his hand and was bleeding.” “And that he was very sorry and would give me my money back if I came back,” Tiffany said.

Tiffany said her daughter’s pediatrician told her they would have to wait 30 days to have the child’s blood tested to see if she had contracted any disease. “And then I’ll have blood tests done at regular intervals for a year to see if anything comes up,” Tiffany said.

Tiffany said the manager refused to tell her who the injured employee was. “If they would just send him for testing, my daughter wouldn’t have to get the jab,” she said.

Tiffany contacted her local health inspector at the Niagara County Health Department to file a report, claiming that “he spoke to the same manager who said, ‘Someone cut their finger, but they didn’t think it was bleeding that much.'” Tiffany also posted on TikTok about the incident.

Tiffany said she contacted Burger King’s corporate office through the website and a representative told her they would cover her daughter’s treatment costs. “We told Burger King that the treatment costs were not enough,” Tiffany said. “And since then my daughter has not eaten anything and I am totally worried and wondering if my daughter needs professional help.”

In a statement, Burger King said it was “deeply dismayed and concerned to learn of this incident.” “We were deeply dismayed and concerned to learn of this incident. We have contacted the guest and are working with her to resolve this incident. This incident was the result of a team member in the restaurant who injured her finger and immediately resigned upon realizing it. We have closed the restaurant to retrain all team members and have hired an outside company to conduct a deep cleaning,” the company said. “We expect the restaurant to reopen on Monday and are paying team members full pay for all shifts lost during this temporary closure.”
