Police investigate fatal shooting Saturday night in south Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – Police are investigating after a man was found dead following a shooting in south Little Rock Saturday night.

Little Rock police officials said officers were called to the area of ​​the 6600 block of Lancaster Road shortly after 9 p.m.

When they arrived, officers said they found a dead man with gunshot wounds.

Detectives from the LRPD Homicide Unit arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.

The authorities have not released any information about the identity of the victim. Investigators have also not released any information about a possible suspect.
