Leo actor Mathew Thomas, Arjun Ashokan and 3 others injured in car accident during Bromance shoot in Kochi

Malayalam actors Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap and Mathew Thomas along with two others recently met with a dangerous car accident while shooting for their film Bromance in Kochi. The actors sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital after the accident.

According to reports, the incident took place on July 16 when the actors were shooting a scene for their film Bromance on MG Road in Kochi at 1:30 am. They were reportedly shooting a chase sequence when their car collided with two motorcycles and overturned.

The vehicle got out of control and crashed into another car.

Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap and Mathew Thomas, who were in the car, sustained injuries and the actors on the two motorcycles were also injured. All five were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were offered immediate treatment and care.

Bromance is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Arun Jose. The makers are yet to make an official statement regarding the strange accident.

Bromance is touted to be a comedy film and it also stars Mahima Nambiar, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Binu Pappu in lead roles.

Filming for “Bromance” was temporarily halted because the police registered a case of reckless driving following the accident.

In May this year, Mathew Thomas’ family members were involved in a serious car accident in which his 61-year-old relative died. The car went out of control, overturned and landed in a gutter in Sasthamugal area of ​​Ernakulam.

Mathew’s parents and his brother John also suffered serious injuries.
