College Station Police arrest man after attack on HEB manager

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A man was arrested Saturday after assaulting a HEB manager and running out of the store with several items he had not paid for.

According to College Station police, this happened shortly before 7 p.m. at the Jones Crossing store.

They quickly found the man, Christopher Jason Edwards, in a nearby restaurant. After a brief struggle, he was arrested.

Edwards is charged with robbery, evading arrest, assault on a public servant and resisting arrest.
