Police release photo of man after sexually abusing 18-year-old woman in East London

Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to following a sexual assault in Bow, east London.

The victim, aged 18, was waiting at a bus stop in Bromley High Street at around 1.20pm on Sunday 2 May when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and attempted to kiss her. She was able to push the man away and he walked away.

The victim then reported the incident to the police.

Police said they had conducted a series of investigations to identify the suspect and on Wednesday released a surveillance image of a man they needed to speak to.

Anyone who recognises the man or witnessed the attack is asked to call police on 101 and quote reference number CAD 4285/29 May.
