Child dies in coconut accident

A one-year-old boy died after a coconut tree fell on him.

According to police, the child was with his mother when the incident occurred outside their house at Davuilevu Housing in Nakasi yesterday.

Upon arrival at the Nakasi Health Center, the child was pronounced dead.

The investigation into this case is ongoing.
