Former interim Selma Fire Department chief arrested for theft

Former interim Selma Fire Department chief arrested for theft. Franklin Edwards was arrested on Friday, July 26 and charged with first degree theft. He was taken into custody by Alabama State Fire Marshal officers with assistance from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to the Perry County Detention Center.
