First Alert Forecast – Pleasant rain on the way next week

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – This weekend started out clear and hot, with daytime highs in the 30s for some of us on Saturday. It was a sunny day that provided an opportunity to get out and enjoy a nice day. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the 15s, making for a more pleasant evening.

There is a chance of rain for a few tomorrow, but not many. Most of the region will remain dry, with temperatures back in the low 30s. Scattered showers are possible in the afternoon/evening hours, but the chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm is relatively low until the overnight hours into Monday. As we start the day on Monday, you may drive through a passing shower on the way to work. Monday has the highest chance of rain, and is the day most people expect rain.

There is also a chance of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be around 30 degrees on both days. Looking ahead to next Friday and the weekend, the chance of rain will largely decrease and temperatures will rise above 30 degrees again.
