Vice President Kamala Harris delivers virtual remarks at Voters For Tomorrow summit in Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Vice President Kamala Harris made a virtual appearance this weekend at the Voters of Tomorrow Summit.

The vice president delivered a virtual address at the Young Activists Summit in Atlanta on Saturday.

“We know that young voters will be critical and your vote cannot be taken for granted. It must be earned and that is exactly what we will do,” Harris said.

The Voters of Tomorrow Summit brings together young organizers and activists from across the country at the Loudermilk Conference Center in Atlanta.

Eve Levenson, national director of youth engagement for Harris for President, spoke at the Atlanta summit to introduce Vice President Harris’ video.

Harris told summit attendees in her speech: “We have made so much progress, historic progress.”

She then spoke about freedoms, including gun violence and women’s reproductive rights.

The conference started on Friday and its last day was Saturday.
