Car crash: Car crash during film shoot injures Arjun and Sangeeth | Kochi News

Kochi: Five people, including actors Arjun Ashokan and Sangeeth Prathap, were injured when a car involved in the shooting of a film went out of control and crossed the finish line on MG Road around 1.30 am on Saturday. Police said the accident occurred during the shooting of a chase scene of director Arun D Jose’s Malayalam film ‘Bromance’. The shooting using a drone camera was taking place on the road. The actors were in the car, which was driven by a stunt choreographer of the film. The car went out of control, crashed into another car and two motorcycles and ended up on the road. Arjun was reportedly sitting in the front seat. Police said the actors and others sustained minor injuries. The injured were taken to a nearby private hospital from where they were discharged after first aid. A police team reached the accident spot immediately after the incident and cleared the vehicles from the road. The shooting of the film was halted after the accident. The Central Police have registered a case based on statements made by Prathap. Police said the cause of the accident and other details could be revealed only after a thorough investigation. Police said the film crew had taken permission to shoot on the road.
