Mississippi man found dead in Louisiana

The victim was identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, MS.

KENTWOOD, Louisiana – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after a Mississippi man was found dead in a car in Kentwood Saturday morning.

Officials said they received a call about a medical emergency around 8:30 a.m. The caller reported seeing “a man slumped in a vehicle that was parked in the middle of the road and surrounded by glass panels,” the news release said.

The victim was identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, MS.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene of the accident on Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road, they said they found Robertson “shot in the vehicle.”

TPSO Criminal Investigation Unit investigators are actively working on this investigation, but could use the public’s assistance, particularly in determining possible motives or suspects.

Sheriff Gerald Sticker is urging anyone with information regarding this crime and/or those responsible to contact the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 985-902-2008.
