DOT employee hit by vehicle during cleanup after accident on Route 24N in West Bridgewater

WEST BRIDGEWATER – Route 24 North was closed Saturday evening after a Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MIT) vehicle was struck.

The worker was cleaning up the aftermath of a previous accident near the median when he was hit by a vehicle.

Emergency vehicles, investigators and the Massachusetts State Police were on site Saturday evening, the condition of the worker is unknown
