Farm worker injured in Stearns County incident | Local News

(Stearns County, MN) – A farm worker was injured in an accident in central Minnesota. According to the report, first responders were called to a crash with injuries Wednesday afternoon near Collegeview Township, about three miles north of Richmond in Stearns County.

When officers arrived on scene, they learned that 22-year-old Paul Kochenderfer of Maple Grove had become stuck in the mud in a pickup truck and, after breaking free, continued to accelerate and crashed into a large bale of hay.

Kochenderfer was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. He reportedly suffered a head injury.

The incident remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
