Former MrBeast employee claims Ava Kris Tyson sexually harassed her

A former MrBeast employee who worked as an assistant to Ava Kris Tyson has publicly claimed that she was “coerced” and sexually abused.

On July 21, allegations against Ava first surfaced: she was accused of “teasing” a fan, LavaGS. As a result, the creator resigned from the MrBeast channel and Jimmy Donaldson himself stated that he would initiate a third-party investigation.

While LavaGS initially defended Ava before admitting that some aspects of the pair’s interactions were “inappropriate,” more people have since spoken out and made allegations against the YouTuber.

On July 27, Jess – a former MrBeast employee who goes by the name “Mooskina” online – shared her experience with Ava on X (formerly Twitter), claiming she was sexually assaulted and “coerced” by the prevailing “power dynamics.”

Jess wrote that she first interacted with Ava after she followed her on Twitter in 2022. The two discussed hormone replacement therapy and the possibility of appearing in a MrBeast video. Allegedly, the relationship soon turned sexual and Ava bombarded Jess with “love messages” to make her feel like “the most important person in her life.”

According to Jess, this led to the pair meeting in person and entering into a “one-sided” sexual relationship that Ava “never reciprocated.” Jess initially left the relationship when she found out Ava was “unable to cast anyone in a MrBeast video,” but returned after being brought back as an assistant. The two began moving in together and reportedly resumed the sexual aspect of their relationship.

“I had just moved in with Ava and quit my job to work as her assistant. I didn’t feel in any way like I could say no without risking my job or being asked to leave,” Jess wrote, describing how she felt “forced.”

Despite allegedly sharing messages indicating an agreement to keep the relationship platonic, Jess claimed Ava was “stuck” with her about the “power dynamics” of their relationship, “what is and is not an appropriate relationship.”

Although they were never officially partners, Jess explained that over time she and Ava became “very, very close emotionally,” which led her to believe they had “something special for the future.” However, Ava entered into a relationship with someone else and Jess decided to move out, after which she also lost her job.

Jess said she eventually spoke to HR and disclosed the extent of her relationship with Ava, only to learn that Ava “was not forthcoming with them.” This “prompted MrBeast to initiate a third-party investigation into the matter.”

At the time of writing, Jess stated that she had not been given any updates since an investigation was promised. The allegations regarding Ava’s interactions with LavaGS came to light in the weeks following Jess’ departure from the company.

“I don’t want any hush money or influence,” Jess concluded. “I just want to move on with my life and close this chapter.”
