Air Quality Warning Extended as Hazy Conditions Continue and Thunderstorms Develop tonight | Montana Weather







July 27 evening Futurecast predicts thunderstorms in southern Montana

MONTANA – The air quality warning was extended today and is expected to expire Monday morning. It is still in effect for the Anaconda, Hamilton, Butte and Drummond areas. Air quality in Hamilton was “hazardous” last night but has reached “moderate” today.

Temperatures around 27 degrees and sunshine brought sunshine to Montana, but it remained hazy near active fires.

Isolated thunderstorms are developing in southern Montana this afternoon and are expected to move through Bozeman, Butte and Billings this evening and clear overnight.
