El Paso Police: 1 shot, injured in East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – According to the El Paso Police Department (EPPD), a person was shot and transported to a local hospital in East El Paso with unknown injuries on Saturday afternoon, July 27.

According to EPPD, officers were called to the 11500 block of Tony Tejeda Drive at 1:23 p.m. on Saturday for a shooting. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Tony Tejeda and George Dieter.


According to EPPD, one person (gender and age not specified) was shot and taken to a local hospital. Police did not provide information on the severity of the person’s injuries.

No arrests have been made so far.
