One person killed by gunshot wound, police said

HOWARD COUNTY, Maryland (DC News Now) — The Howard County Police Department (HCPD) said it is investigating after a person was shot at the Columbia Mall Saturday night.

HCPD said one person was dead after being shot following an altercation at the mall.

In an update According to police at 7:08 p.m., there was no evidence of an active shooter.
