Officials said Kensington police received a report shortly after noon on Monday that a man was making criminal threats against a person at a home on Olivia Lane.

Officials said the man came out of the house with a gun shortly after 10:30 p.m. and six police officers fired their weapons. Another officer fired non-lethal ammunition, the Attorney General’s Office said.

The identity of the police officers who used deadly force will only be revealed after official questioning, which is expected to take place in the next five to ten days, the Attorney General’s Office said.
