Princess Anne spent three weeks recovering at her home in Gatcombe Park from a “mysterious” horse accident on June 23. After returning to work in mid-July, Her Royal Highness reportedly wants to “avoid this turmoil” and simply “move on”.

“I don’t think Princess Anne is particularly the self-pitying type,” said the royal expert Gareth Russell shared. “I don’t think we’ll see a big interview where she even talks about the horseback riding accident. I don’t think that’s really in her nature. That being said, she’s often pretty open in interviews, so if she’s asked about it, maybe she’ll talk about it.”

The Princess Royal reportedly suffered a severe “blow to the head.”

“But I would be very surprised if she felt it was in the public interest or an obligation to sit down and talk about the incident in which she was injured,” he added. “I don’t think that’s consistent with her personality or her history.”

An experienced horse rider, the Princess is currently in Paris where she will compete in the full 2024 Summer Olympics in the French capital. She competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada and is now the official President of the British Olympic Association.

The hard-working royal has been making headlines since the incident surrounding her head injury in late June, which resulted in memory loss that resulted in partial loss of her memory.

“We still don’t know exactly what happened when she met that horse and what happened,” the royal reporter said Michael Cole served “Apparently she has no memory of it. So maybe it remains a secret between her and the horse.”

The Princess Royal has not missed many royal obligations in her life.

“Princess Anne is an incredible woman – passionate, smart and quick-witted, genuinely interested in the people she meets and the events she attends, and incredibly hardworking,” said the rider Rhea Freeman shared shortly after the incident. “I imagine she can’t wait to get back to work as soon as possible as she creates awareness, understanding and so much more in the places she visits and the organizations and events she supports.”

The princess is extremely unhappy with her schedule after her injury.

The princess is said to have spent “over 40 years” with very few days off when it came to her royal duties, Freeman points out. “Having spent a short time in Princess Anne’s presence, I got the distinct impression that she knows what she wants and I can’t imagine she will be very happy to take things easy.”

She continued: “She has worked incredibly hard for many years and has attended over 450 events in the last year. Her normal schedule is relentless and she often attends multiple events a day, so it will be very strange for her to have any enforced time off, I’m sure.”
