Man and woman hospitalized after overnight shooting in Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

A man and a woman were hospitalized following a shooting in Philadelphia Friday night, police said.

Police said officers responded to the 4600 block of Morris Street around 11:38 p.m. after receiving reports of a person with a gun.

Upon arrival, police said they found an 18-year-old man lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds to the chest and lower back. Officers took him to the hospital, where he was in critical condition.

According to police, a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her left ankle was taken to hospital in a private vehicle. Her condition is stable.

According to the police, no arrests were made and no weapons were confiscated.
