Damar Hamlin attends Buffalo Bills playoff game in person; Cincinnati Bengals win, advance to AFC Championship

Damar Hamlin made an in-person appearance to cheer on his Buffalo Bills teammates during a crucial playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The defender was seen entering Highmark Stadium for the first time since his life-threatening medical emergency to wish the Bills luck in the divisional round game.

After greeting his fellow Bills players in the locker room before kickoff, Hamlin was whisked away to a private suite to enjoy the game. When Bills fans noticed Hamlin was in the building, the crowd cheered and he made a heart sign as a thank you for all the love he was receiving.

Ultimately, the Bills were defeated by the Bengals by a final score of 27-10. The Bengals will advance to the next round while the Bills’ season will end tonight.

It was on January 2 that Hamlin collapsed on the field during a game against the Bengals. The 24-year-old suffered cardiac arrest and required cardiopulmonary resuscitation for several minutes. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after his heartbeat was restored.

After further testing and medical care, Hamlin recovered and returned to social media on January 7 to thank everyone for their support.

Hamlin was released from the health facility on January 11 and will continue his rehabilitation at home. On January 15, Hamlin visited his teammates at their training facility to show them his miraculous recovery.
