1 dead, 1 injured after motorcycle crash on Smyrna Parkway, Louisville police say | News from WDRB

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One man is dead and another was injured in a motorcycle crash on Smyrna Parkway Friday night.

Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers were called to a motorcycle crash on Smyrna Parkway at Theiler Lane around 10:30 p.m.

According to police, the motorcycle collided with another vehicle at the intersection. The motorcyclist was taken to UofL Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The LMPD traffic unit is investigating.
