Beer alert: New “IPA Day” beers and international classics

Next week is one beer day after another. IPA Day is on August 1st, followed by International Beer Day on August 2nd.^and. We will celebrate both and hope you do, too.

The right time to revive a classic (Seattle, WA) – August 1st is National IPA Day and we thought it might be time to revive some classic IPAs, India Pale Ales like Elysian’s famous Space Dust, which has risen up the rankings to become the fourth best IPA in the country.

The beer demonstrates the Seattle brewery’s expertise in the American IPA sector since its launch in 2012. Elysian Space Dust IPA is a bold yet cosmically accessible 8.2% ABV India Pale Ale, dusted with an explosion of Chinook, Citra and Amarillo hops.

Drinking worldwide (White Plains, NY) – We know you know that August 1st is National IPA Day. But did you know that August 2nd is International Beer Day? And we’re celebrating that date, as well as Oktoberfest season, with another classic coming stateside via Paulaner USA.

Germany’s most popular Oktoberfest beer and a real institution in Munich, Oktoberfest Beer is a bottom-fermented Golden Lager with 6% alcohol content that combines the perfect balance of light notes and strong malt notes.

The official “Any Day” beer (Atlanta, GA) – Scofflaw Brewing just added a new brew to its mix that we call “everyday beer.” Some have even called it too good, but Scofflaw says, “There’s no such thing.”

Inspired by a time “when beer was still beer and beer should just be beer”, Scofflaw Nice Lager is a crisp and pure soft drink with 4.2% alcohol content, which according to the brewery is made “for leisurely drinking, barbecuing in the garden and for good mood all year round”. Not that there is anything wrong with that!
