Man sexually harassed during New Year’s walk through London park

A man was sexually harassed while walking through a park in south London earlier this year.

The victim, a man in his 60s, was attacked and sexually assaulted by two men as he walked through Briset Park in Eltham shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day.

The attack was reported to police later that day.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman appealed for information and said: “Were you in Briset Park just after midnight on New Year’s Day? Do you live in the area and do you perhaps have CCTV or doorbell footage showing two men in the area around midnight?”
