Atlanta United’s Tyler Wolff out 4-6 weeks

The injury occurred when Wolff, who came on as a substitute in the 66th minute, was hit by a Minnesota player in the second half. Wolff was replaced in the 90th minute.

Wolff has eight appearances, including four starts, this season. He did not score or provide an assist. He has 43 appearances, including 17 starts, in his career with five goals and two assists.

Wolff’s injury leaves coach Gonzalo Pineda thin at the position with just three healthy players remaining: Xande Silva, also injured, Saba Lobjanidze and Edwin Mosquera. Atlanta United traded Derrick Etienne to Toronto two weeks ago.

Atlanta United is scheduled to host Charlotte Independence in the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday at Kennesaw State.
