Notice of submission of reasons to 02 Engineers

SRINAGAR, July 25: The Jal Shakti Department today suspended two employees in Baramulla district.

An order issued against Mohd Yagoob Khan Mangral, a helper of PHE Sub Division Baramulla currently posted in Delina Water Supply Scheme, states that he is suspended with immediate effect pending an investigation into his conduct. The suspension was imposed for drilling a hole in the main supply line to divert water to his relatives’ fields and affecting the water supply to other residents.

The second order was issued against Mohd Shaf Gojer, an assistant mechanic at PHE Watergam sub-division, and he is suspended with immediate effect for failing to perform his duties on time pending an investigation into his conduct.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Engineer Imtiyaz Ahmad of PHE Sub-Division Baramulla and Engineer Mudasir Nayeem Rather of PHE Sub-Division Pattan were served summons for failing to adequately address the water crisis in their jurisdictions.
