Princess Anne wants to ‘avoid discussion of riding incident’ after Queen returns to duty

A royal commentator exclusively told GB News that Princess Anne will “avoid discussion of her horse-riding incident” once the Queen returns to duty.

Anne, 73, spent five nights in hospital after an incident involving a horse at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.

He said: “I don’t think Princess Anne is particularly the type to feel sorry for herself.

“I don’t think we’ll see a big interview where she even talks about the riding accident. I don’t think that’s really in her nature.

“However, she is often very open in interviews, so if asked, she might talk about it.

“But I would be very surprised if she felt it was in the public interest or her duty to sit down and talk about the incident in which she was injured.

“I don’t think it’s because of her personality or her track record.”
