One person shot in Folsom, police search for suspect – Folsom Times

A person was shot in Folsom and the manhunt for the suspect began Friday evening.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., Folsom police were called to an apartment complex on Duchow Way in Folsom. According to radio traffic, an adult male was shot in the chest and taken to UC Davis Medical Center.

Folsom Police and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department are actively searching the area by ground, air, and drone. Due to the high level of police activity, very little information is available at this time.

According to radio traffic, police are looking for an adult man, approximately 6 feet tall, with blue eyes and wearing sweatpants and a tank top. According to radio traffic, the suspect had not been found as of 9:55 p.m.

At 10:50 p.m., Folsom Police confirmed that the suspect was not yet in custody and their efforts to arrest him were ongoing.
