Victim beaten at UNLV by same suspect accused of lewdness on CSN campus

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – University police said they are searching for a suspect who robbed and “groped” a victim outside Greenspun Hall Friday morning.

The incident occurred around 5:50 a.m. in the outdoor courtyard of UNLV’s Greenspun Hall, according to police. According to a statement from the College of Southern Nevada, the suspect approached the victim, struck her and took her phone.

Officials say the suspect fled eastbound on Maryland Parkway. The suspect is believed to be the same person arrested on July 8 for open and gross lewdness in the women’s restroom at the College of Southern Nevada’s North Las Vegas campus.

According to the release, the suspect’s description is as follows: Black adult male, 25 years old, 6’2″ tall, slim build, black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a gray “Lady Rancho Rams High School” shirt and green “Rams” shorts.
