Student raped by several men in Indore, four accused

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) (India), August 26 (ANI): A student from Indore was allegedly drugged and raped by three youths here on Wednesday, police said.

Police have filed charges against three youths – Ashish, Nipul and Ritesh – and the victim’s girlfriend.

According to police, the incident took place on August 23 when the victim, her friend and the three men went to Mandav for a picnic. On their way back, the trio took her to one of the accused’s houses in Lasudia area where they drugged and raped her.

The incident came to light when the trio fled the scene after the incident and the victim called her family members who took her to Lasudia police station.

Rajesh Raghuvanshi, deputy commissioner of police, said, “Lasudia police have filed a complaint against the three youths and their friend. The police are yet to arrest all the accused.” (ANI)
