Man arrested after assault on woman and held in Cold Spring house

A man was arrested Friday after police say a woman was assaulted and held against her will at a Cold Spring home. Police said officers arrived in the 5400 block of Skyline Drive around 10:20 a.m. Friday. Officers said the woman, whose age was not released by police, claimed she was assaulted and held against her will before she jumped out a window. Police said after she jumped out the window, she ran down the street and called 911. According to the Campbell County Police Department, 54-year-old Jeffrey Farrar was arrested and charged with false imprisonment and assault. The Campbell County Police Department’s investigation is ongoing.

Officials said the woman, whose age was not disclosed by police, claimed she was attacked and held against her will before jumping out of the window.

Police said the woman ran down the street after jumping out the window and called 911.
