SALISBURY – A two-vehicle accident on West Innes Street at Overman Avenue resulted in the brief closure of West Innes Street in both directions at around 3:15 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Officials said both the driver and passenger of one vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police were still questioning one of the drivers and could not provide further details on the cause of the crash, but a passerby said he believed one car drove in front of another.
