Hillary Clinton to visit Houston soon to promote new book

Book lovers rejoice! Hillary Clinton has added 10 more cities to her upcoming promotional tour, including Houston.

“I am thrilled to announce that my new book, Something Lost, Something Gained, will be released in September,” Clinton wrote on Instagram. “It’s about friendship, aging and marriage, our politics and democracy, the threats we face as a country, and how we can all work together to shape a future we can be proud of.”

The book will be released on September 17. Clinton’s book tour will begin on September 16 in Washington, D.C., and will stop in Houston on October 14 at the Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts.

“I’m delighted that so many of you want to come and participate in these conversations about ‘Something Lost, Something Gained,'” Clinton said.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting July 30, with regular tickets going on sale to the public on August 2. Attendees can expect an informal discussion during which Clinton and a moderator will discuss a variety of topics. “Something Lost, Something Gained” marks Clinton’s thirteenth book, which she has published with Simon & Schuster, an American publishing house.

“I look forward to hitting the road this fall to talk about all of this with you in person,” Clinton said.

Hillary Clinton, who became the first woman in U.S. history to run for president for a major political party, plans to discuss her life as a public servant, mother, former first lady and U.S. senator during her tour. Earlier this week, Hillary and Bill Clinton endorsed Kamala Harris as the next president of the United States after President Joe Biden announced he would not seek a second term.

“We join millions of Americans in thanking President Biden for all he has accomplished, for standing up for America time and time again, always with what is best for the country in mind,” the Clintons said in a statement. “We are honored to join the President in supporting Vice President Harris and will do everything we can to support her.”
