Police name man killed in Little Rock shooting

Little Rock police on Friday identified a man who was shot near John Barrow Road on Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting near 2124 Labette Manor Drive. Elijah Tolbert, 23, of Jacksonville, was shot in the street, a police news release said.

Tolbert died shortly after the shooting in a nearby hospital, police said.

As of Friday morning, authorities had not publicly identified any suspects in the murder.
