Roseburg Police Take Woman to Jail Over Alleged U-Trans Bus Incident – ​​KQEN News Radio

Roseburg police arrested a woman Thursday for an alleged incident on a U-Trans bus.

An RPD report said officers were called to the corner of West Harvard Avenue and West Harrison Street at 11:00 a.m. after a caller reported a woman refusing to get off the bus. When officers arrived, they learned that 51-year-old Shamone McConnell had caused a disturbance that caused the bus to stop and passengers to disembark.

McConnell also allegedly threatened to shoot the bus driver when she was asked to exit the bus. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect without any problems.

McConnell was charged with second-degree menacing, second-degree trespassing and second-degree disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $3,750.
