Regular police investigate shooting on Tuesday evening

NORMAL – Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday evening in north Normal.

According to a press release, officers were called to the 1500 block of Northbrook Drive around 11:44 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

Police said they found evidence of gunfire on site and that a residential complex in the area had been hit by bullets.

Authorities said no injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
