Police in Clovis, California, are hunting a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in April while posing as a rideshare driver, local station KFSN-TV reported.

Authorities were searching for 27-year-old Bikramjit Singh, who posed as an Uber driver and tried to give people a ride as they left a bar, they said. He is wanted for kidnapping, false imprisonment and sexual assault.

According to police, the attack occurred in Fresno and Uber confirmed that the vehicle associated with the incident was not registered with the company.

Authorities also say Singh, who used his roommate’s vehicle for the crime, told the victim that he had committed similar crimes before.
