APC and PDP will win if we suspend Soludo – APGA

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dismissed the possibility of expelling Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo from the party.

Naija News reports that the National Chairman of APGA, Edozie Njoku, made the announcement while addressing journalists in Lagos State.

Njoku said the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would benefit from Soludo’s suspension from the APGA.

According to the party leader, there are no plans to suspend the governor, adding that any political party is bound to face problems.

Njoku said: “The current peaceful mood in the APGA made it unnecessary for the party. That would have sounded good to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and probably also to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“But if we suspend Soludo today, who will be the beneficiary of this mishap? It will be other parties.”

“There is no party that does not really have a problem. But peace is crucial. We are reconciling and that is not going to be easy. Nigeria is a country where there are so many different views because of adversity. And when there are different views, you recognize that everyone has the right to have their own opinion.”

“As you know, in politics, people have to do politics. Yes, the NWC received the proposal to expel Governor Soludo from the party. But that was not resolved. It was discussed and it came to a point where no agreement could be reached on it.”
