Newborn girl found dead in Woodland Hills – NBC Los Angeles

An investigation is ongoing after a newborn baby was found dead in a house in Woodland Hills on Tuesday.

Los Angeles police said a 23-year-old woman was admitted to a local hospital with severe bleeding. Her condition prompted police to rush to her home in the 2300 block of Burbank Boulevard, where a baby girl born just one day ago was found dead.

It is unclear what caused the newborn’s death. Nothing has been disclosed about the mother’s condition.
