Man Shot Near Jackson Street Bridge – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon at 480 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue in northeast Atlanta.

The address lists several commercial businesses.

According to police, when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Channel 2’s Ashli Lincoln and a photographer head to the scene with LIVE updates on Channel 2 Action News at 5 p.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s age and identity have not been released.

Police have not said whether a suspect is in custody. APD has not said what led to the shooting.
