Buffalo Central Terminal Announces 2024 Schedule of Free Events

From a fitness bootcamp to Fallfest, the Central Terminal Restoration Corp (CTRC) plans to host many fun events and activities on the grounds of Central Terminal in 2024. Other events will take place on site, focused around of the picturesque lawn. will be the Central Terminal Car Show and Summer Concert Series. All events will take place from May to October.

“We are very excited to expand the community events held on the historic lawn,” said Monica Pellegrino Faix, executive director of Central Terminal Restoration Corp. “From live music to fitness training camp and animated movie nights, we have a little something for everyone this summer at the Terminal.

Events at the Central Terminal include:

  • Fitness Bootcamp Health is Wealth – A 3-part fitness and cardio bootcamp hosted by GCOPE Fitness. The series will take place on the lawn of the central terminal from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. May 18thJune 22sdand June 29th.
  • Central Terminal Auto Show – Admire more than 100 meticulously restored compact and muscle sports cars on Sunday, June 30thth from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Central Terminal Motor Show.
  • Movie night – This year, the CTRC is organizing two movie evenings at the Terminal. Join us July 29th for a taste of nostalgia with “The Goonies” and August 28th for a perfect animated film for the little ones. More information will be announced soon!
  • Summer Concert Series – After the tremendous enthusiasm of its audiences last year, CTRC is pleased to announce that our summer concert series has been expanded to four sensational evenings! Join CTRC on 11 JulythJuly 18thJuly 29thand August 8th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Shakespeare in the Park returns to the Central Terminal on Friday, July 19th with a “Summer Night Tour.” from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • 5th Annual back-to-school competition hosted by Leg. Howard Johnson and CM Nowakowski.
  • Get ready for the new school year during our Saturday competition, August 17th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • autumn festival – Enjoy the CTRC Family Fall Festival on Saturday, October 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring music, pumpkin decorating, photo areas, beer and wine vendors, and more.
  • Trunk or Treat hosted by Matt Urban Center – The tradition continues on Tuesday, October 29th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
