Terrell Davis’ lawyer releases video of United plane incident

(WEAA) – Parker Stinar, the attorney for former NFL star Terrell Davis, has released video of the July 13 incident on a United commercial flight.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame member said he tapped a flight attendant on the arm, causing her to shout “Don’t hit me” and rush to the front of the plane.

When the plane landed, federal agents came on board and handcuffed him, Davis said.

In a social media post, he said the incident was shocking and traumatizing.

“This video corroborates the harrowing story of multiple law enforcement officers, including the FBI, boarding the plane and arresting a shocked, frightened, humiliated and compliant Mr. Davis in front of his wife, Tamiko, his minor children and more than a hundred passengers. The reasons for the United Airlines employee’s fraudulent or inaccurate report go far beyond a mere request for calm or an innocent pat on the back. That is why we will be filing suit, because only through a trial can we uncover the truth and hold United Airlines accountable for the systemic deficiencies that led to this traumatic incident that has caused irreparable harm and ongoing suffering to the Davis family.” Parker Stinar, Managing Partner, Stinar Gould Grieco & Hensley
