Silver Alert issued for missing man from Macclenny

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, a Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Macclenny man who was last seen Friday.

According to FDLE, 68-year-old Charles Batten was last seen on July 19 in the 2400 block of North County Road 23A. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, gray gym shorts and tan shoes, the Baker County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

Batten is described as 5’7″ tall, 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. According to FDLE, he may be driving a silver 2018 Toyota Corolla with Florida license plate 86BJRF, as the agency adds that the vehicle’s front bumper is missing.
