Larchwood man arrested for drunk driving | News

LARCHWOOD – A 21-year-old Larchwood man was arrested at approximately 12:40 a.m. Sunday, July 21, for a first offense charge of driving under the influence.

Jackson Randal Kramer’s arrest occurred after a 2014 Ford Focus was stopped on Highway 9, about a mile south of Larchwood, for ignoring the right of way of an oncoming vehicle and crossing the center line several times, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Kramer had bloodshot/watery eyes, impaired balance, smelled of alcoholic beverages, and failed the sobriety test.

According to the incident report, he admitted to drinking alcohol.
