Six-year-old sexually abused in Shamshabad-Telangana today

Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl was sexually abused by a man in Shamshabad on Monday evening.

The victim lives with his parents, who are daily wage labourers, in Siddhanti village in Shamshabad. The suspect Anjaneyulu, who hails from Mahabubnagar district, lives in the same area near the victim’s house.

“When the suspect’s wife was away on business on Monday, Anjaneyulu took the child into the house and sexually abused her,” said an officer at the RGI airport police station.

The locals, who noticed the crying girl, grabbed Anjaneyulu and handed him over to the police. The girl was taken to a hospital where she is being treated. The police arrested Anjaneyulu and filed a complaint against him. The investigation is ongoing.
