Rest of this week

Rain is likely through at least Thursday as tropical moisture continues to flow into the region. Cloud cover and rain should help keep highs above 25 degrees Celsius in most areas. It’s worth noting that there are some signs that rains could begin early Wednesday as a light rain cloud moves inland from the Gulf.

Expanded outlook

The chance of rain could be a little lower by the weekend, but it should still be above normal. From Friday to Sunday we have a 50 to 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 35 degrees could become a little more common, with most of the rain likely to stay away until the afternoon hours.

The probability of precipitation will continue to be above normal in the first half of next week, but could return to normal by midweek.
