Significant vandalism reported at a home in Indiana County

According to police, at least one of those responsible may have been injured in the incident

State police said at least one of the suspects involved in an aggravated vandalism of an Indiana County home may have been injured in the incident. At around 2:30 p.m. Monday, troopers were dispatched to a vacant home in the 2800 block of West Pike Road in White Township after the owner discovered the vandalism. Police said the incident occurred sometime between Sunday night and Monday and several items, including appliances, lights, doors, windows, drywall, a sink and a toilet, were damaged or destroyed. Police said several young people ran from the area during the evening hours. They also said blood was found at the scene, suggesting one or more of those responsible were injured in the incident. State police said the investigation is ongoing.

It was about 2:30 p.m. on Monday when police officers were dispatched to a vacant home in the 2800 block of West Pike Road in White Township after the owner discovered the vandalism.

According to police, the incident occurred sometime between Sunday night and Monday. Several items, including electrical appliances, lamps, doors, windows, plasterboard, a sink and a toilet, were damaged or destroyed.

According to police, several young people were seen fleeing the area in the evening.

They also said that blood was found at the scene, suggesting that one or more of those responsible were injured in the incident.

State police said the investigation is still ongoing.
